Afternoon Tea

Hi everyone. Sorry this is a mega short post but earlier today I uploaded a post on birthdays and I missed out a crucial part! When Violet came round my mum and my sister made me an afternoon tea. It looked and tasted amazing! I will definitely do a post on how to make them soon but I have got lots to post first!

They made

1.  cucumber and ham sandwiches
2. raspberry and lemon and strawberry cakes 
3. scones with jam and cream

It was delicious!

Birthdays

Hi everyone. Today this is going to be a very short post about birthdays. Recently I had my birthday and my family and friends insured that I had a fantastic time. I am just going to do a quick overview of what happened on the day as I am going to do lots of other posts of what I did to celebrate after, and whats still to come so make sure you go and check them out as soon as I post them. 

I woke up to a thousand birthday messages on my phone, so thank you if you emailed or texted me. I loved all of the messages. 

Then me, my two sisters and mum ( my brother at dad were at a national competition, but saw them later in the day) all sat on my parents bed and we did our traditional present opening. I got some awesome presents and still more to come! One of my presents was to get and move into my own room on the day! I was so happy and make sure that in about two weeks when the post goes up you have a look at my room organisation and decor post. 

Then after all my stuff had been transferred into my new room, we trailed downstairs into the kitchen we we had pancakes. My post on how to make them is up so go and have a look.

My friend Violet came round and we had a great time. Make sure you have a look at her youtube channel its called Violet Morgan. I love it!

Stationary

Hi everyone. I am very excited today because this is the first time that I giving my opinions and sharing my love for stationary.

Stationary is the inspiration for this blog, hence the name, and I am really excited to do my first of many posts. 

Starting today I aim to do a stationary post once a month just like my monthly favourites. However I am going to try not to go on and on like I would do if I could. I will also make sure that  I don't talk about stationary too much in my monthly general favourites and talk about it more in these posts! Anyway, without any further chat, lets get started!

I love stationary ( if you hadn't already taken the hint!) partly because of the organisation and the handiness of it. To just be able to keep a pencil case in your handbag or ruck sack and just have a post-it note or pen when you need it, I find it really satisfying.

Pencil cases. Thats the first thing I am going to chat about. I think that this is one of the things that stands out. You take it out  of your bag and its really cool and it instantly draws my attention. I love the  ones which you casn organise really well, with pockects or sectors and fit lots of stuff in. Now if i'm looking for stationary, the first shop I think of is WHSmith's. It has everything I need and really good quality, despite the high prices. I really like this pencil case and love owls so it has everything I rewuire.

I also really llike  this one quite the opposite to the one above. If you want to keep just a few things in and have a nice light but pretty pencil case or even to keep something else in it's perfect!

Moving on to pens. I have a very crtain way with my pens so looking should be quite hard, but it isnt. these ones below are excactly my style and I find perfect for everything. The comfy grip and result of the ink is really good so go and have a look at the link.

However, with coloured pens, I have two favourites. They are both amazing. A very popular and well-known set if pens. I love this set. They are very high quality and are the perfect set of coloured fine-liners.

But more recently, my favourite pens have been ink joys whether there colours or black or even the mini ones I love but my favourite is the pack of ten coloured pens. They are fantastic.

Moving onto pencils, there is only one choice for everyone. These are great. So go out out and get them.

However, with coloured pencils it iiss a different matter. There are lots of different quality coloured pencils. My favourite though have to be WHSmiths colouring pencils. They are fabulous quality and the tone and shades of the colours. I love them.

A totally different story is post-it notes. Personally I think it is one of the handiest piece of stationary you can get. They help you become more organised and are super useful when you just need to jot something down. I have these mega cute cupcake ones which I use all the time. They are great!

Folders are great! Any kind they are perfect for any organisation anything. I especially like this
